Bait-ul-Mal MD meets NA speaker

Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Aon Abbas Buppi called on speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser at Parliament House. The matter pertaining to overall domestic situations and other issues of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. The speaker congratulated Aon Abbas Buppi on assuming the portfolio of managing director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal and expressed hope that under his sagacious leadership the Bait-ul-Mal will emerge as an excellent institution in the field of social security.
He said that the restoration of deprived and suppressed segments of the society and make a happy and pleasant change in their lives is top priority of the present government. He said that Bait-ul-Mal was playing an important role to eliminate the poverty and improve the standard of lives of marginalized people of the country, says a press release issued here on Thursday.
Qaiser said that the treatment of deadly diseases like cancer, kidney diseases and bone marrow transplant were not affordable for poor and marginalized peoples whereas Bait-ul-Mal was their last hope. He said that poor and needy families were facing great hardship in marriages of their children. He instructed the Bait-ul-Mal to provide maximum financial assistance to those families who could not fulfill the requirement of the marriages of their children.
The speaker expressed the desire for establishing model villages in all four provincial capitals for marginalized and destitute segments of society and provision of land, electricity, gas and others amenities by the government to those model villages. He said that the street children were the important segment of the society and we can make them useful citizen through providing them education and employment opportunities.-PR
