Samuel Jackson, who plays an important role in Marvel’s 'Avengers', has hinted at how Captain Marvel could be key to saving the day in ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
In an interview to Entertainment Tonight, he revealed that Captain Marvel can travel time which might make things easier for Avengers to save the universe. “She’s pretty much the strongest character, in terms of someone with powers are able to do things in the Marvel universe,” Jackson said.
“So, for Carol Danvers to be that person and for Brie to become that person, it's gonna be a dynamite thing. I mean, [the Avengers] are up against some really, really tough odds right now -- we saw throughout Infinity War -- so now we know that we need something that's as powerful as Thanos. And at some point, we'll find out how powerful she is and all the things that she's capable of. She's one of the few people in the Marvel universe that can time travel, so…,’ he added.
Some photos taken from the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ set about a year ago have also given Marvel fans reason to believe that time travel is possible. They show Chris Evans in what appears to be an old retro Captain America suit from 2012’s Avengers.
It is yet to be seen that could ‘mighty’ Thanos only be defeated if Captain Marvel was able to turn back time and allow the Avengers another shot at defeating the villain and preventing him from collecting all six Infinity Stones.
She can also travel through time to arrive at the beginning of the Infinity War to help the Avengers in the past, organize against Thanos with a better plan.
