Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has congratulated Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai on her new book ‘We Are Displaced’.
Malala shared on Twitter that her new book ‘We Are Displaced’ is a collection of stories from refugee girls around the world. She insisted that more than 68.5 million people are currently living as refugees or internally displaced people — the majority are children and most are girls. They have big dreams and should be given proper opportunities for brighter future.
The book opens with Malala’s own story of displacement as she has been moved to US following her attack and since then she couldn’t return back to the country.
Replying to Malala on Twitter, Bill Gates congratulated her on the book's launch and said that he cannot think of a better person to bring these stories to light.
I can’t think of a better person to bring these stories to light. Congratulations, @Malala. https://t.co/ZAMoQxNdyq
