Malaysian business team finds Pakistan safe

Member of Malaysian Investors and trade delegation and Group MD of Silver Lake Digital Economy, Cho Soo Chin has expressed that the delegation was reluctant to visit Pakistan due to negative perception of persisting law and order situation in the country but after landing in Karachi our fears and concerns had been overcome.
Addressing a dinner arranged for Malaysian Investors and trade delegation by Karachi Business Guild (KBG), she said the delegation members and colleagues were roaming with freedom and sense of security in the city.
Patron in Chief of United Business Group (UBG) and former president of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FPCCI) S M Muneer applauded the contribution of KBG chief Farhan-ur-Rehman and his team to bring foreign investors to Pakistan. S M Muneer said foreign investment and technology are the need of hour for Pakistani economy.
KBG chairman Farhan-ur-Rehman said our initial efforts to bring foreign investor become successful now the government is responsible to provide them facilitation and comfortable environment for business, so they could consider Pakistan for their investments destination.
He said we have invited 4 more companies from USA and Finland and hopefully they would visit Karachi soon to explore business opportunities. The Consul General of Malaysia Ismael Bakari, KATI president Danish Khan, senior vice president Faraz ur Rehman, Abdul Haseeb Khan, Dr Mirza Ikhtiyar Baig, Abdussami Khan, Rafique Pardesi, Shakeel Ahmed Dheengra and others also attended the event.
