Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that the PTI had promised jobs to the youth but large number of people had lost their jobs during the last two months due to the closure of different institutions. According to media cell of JI at Mansoora, he was talking to the media at Swabi after attending a wedding. He said that the PTI had announced conversion of the country into the Madina state but not a single step in that direction had been taken so far.
He said the government should adopt immediate steps in these directions so that the masses did not lose hope in the government. The JI chief further said that the PTI leadership had promised a change but it was following the line adopted by the previous governments and the confidence of the people had been shaken with the government approaching the IMF and the price hike caused due to different decisions.
