Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayaz-ul-Hasan Chohan has said that Pakistan's diversified culture would be promoted across the globe. According to spokesman for information department, he stated this while addressing the closing ceremony of Annual Lok Mela at Loke Virsa Shakarparian on Sunday.
Parliamentarians, high officials, representatives of all provinces including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, Executive Director Lok Virsa Shahera Shahid, Director Rawalpindi Arts Council Waqar Ahmed, artists and large number of people attended the ceremony. Provincial minister said the government is committed to promote culture values and work of our artisans at national and international level besides providing them adequate opportunities to showcase their products and demonstrate professional competence.
