Prime Minister Imran Khan along with an official delegation will visit Malaysia from 20-21 November 2018, official sources told Business Recorder. In addition to officials, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Finance Minister Asad Umar will accompany the Prime Minister. Prime Minister and his entourage will be traveling to Kuala Lumpur onboard special VVIP aircraft, departing Islamabad for Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (November 20, 2018).
According to sources, High Commission of Pakistan, Kuala Lumpur will make necessary arrangements for boarding, lodging, transport and mobile telephone for the Minister for Finance and the expenditure incurred will be sent to the Finance Ministry.
The VVIP aircraft Gulfstream-450 will depart Islamabad at 2.30 pm on November 20 for Bunga Raya Complex, Kuala Lumpur International Airport with travel time of 5 hours and 45 minutes with a time difference of plus three hours.
The Prime Minister will be received by Senator Dato Maarzuki Yahya, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs (TBC) and Minister-in- Attendance. Prime Minister will witness static guard of honour and will stay in VVIP lounge for a short time. At 11.20 PM, Prime Minister will depart for IOI Marriot Putrajaya hotel where he would stay the night.
On November 21 morning after a quiet breakfast Prime Minister will depart for Perdana Square, Prime Minister's Office where he would have restricted meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister, Dr. Mahathir Mohamad which would start at 10 am and continue till 10:30 am. Delegation level meeting will be held from 10:30 am at level 3, PM Office, which would continue till 11 am.
At 11:30-11:40, both sides will sign Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) after which a joint press conference would he held. At 12:00 - 1:30 PM, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad will host a lunch in honor for Prime Minister Imran Khan. At 1:30 pm Prime Minister will depart for IOI Marriot Putrajaya hotel. From 2:15 pm to 3:30 pm Prime Minister will hold meetings with investors after which he would visit Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
From 4:45 pm to 5:15 pm, Prime Minister will meet with Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XV Sultan Muhammad V at Seri Maharaja, Istana Negara.
From 6 pm to 6:40 pm, the Prime Minister will meet with Pakistani community members and/or be interviewed with local media groups. He will depart for Bunga Raya Complex, Kuala Lumpur International Airport and arrive at Noor Khan Airbase at 10:35 pm on November 21.
