100 days in power: PML-N to issue white paper on government's failures

16 Nov, 2018

While the ruling PTI government is all set to complete its 100 days in power this month, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to issue white paper to highlight failures of the PTI government. The PML-N would highlight hike in electricity and gas tariffs and double-digit inflation in its white paper, sources said. "The difficulties being faced by people would also be unfolded in the paper."
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz in an interview said that the party had seen the difficult times of dictatorship and now it will face the current situation as well. "During Musharraf's era, we underwent accountability for 10 years. We are in favour of accountability but Imran Khan's revenge is hidden behind this accountability," he said. He said now the Supreme Court has also shown its distrust in the accountability watch dog. He said: "Shahbaz Sharif served Punjab with honesty for 10 years. He did not take even an inch of land in Ashiana or even a rupee from the national treasury." He warned Imran Khan that the nation will hold him accountable for his lies and U-turns.
