Monis Rehman, CEO Naseeb gave a key note speech/presentation on Digital Marketing Landscape In Pakistan. He explained that they have a system where they can target different brands ads with precision, accurately targeting their audience/ customers. Bilal Farrukh, CMO, E-Business (Pvt) Ltd - Pring gave key note presentation on Breaking the Digital Barriers. He highlighted different success stories of Pring like 40% increased sales by Levis, Imran Khan gained 850,000 followers from grass root level & 140000 cricket players from 700 streets coached professionally. Umair Javed, CEO Strategic Alliancez, presented Digital & Mobile Advertising - a Practitioner's Perspective. He highlighted the best and worst Pakistani Social Media brand practice. Bracing for Smartphone Users: Real-Time Mobile Engagement – A Case of Olaround was presented by Amer Sarfaraz, Partner & VP of Business, Bramerz. He explained how Olaround works for internet users. Idrees Butt, COO, SMS ALL talked about Mobile Marketing Potential in Pakistan. He emphasized that SMS marketing can take customer relationship to a whole new level; it is short so is flexible & easy to understand. Dr Shahid Zia, CEO, Pk Economists & Principal Grace College presented a changing education sector & power of digital content. He explained students of this era are digital natives, multi-taskers, content producers, powerfully equipped with knowledge. Technology allows them to learn and get their information when they want it, how they want it and whenever they want it. Andaleeb Abbas, CEO Franklin Covey Social Marketing - Jaag Utho for Youth Activism gave presentation on case study of Jaag Utho - A campaign for PTI in context to Marketing for Political parties. Jaag Utho was showcased by Indian bloggers as an example of the best political revolution in south east Asia. 1 crore voters were registered with PTI as a result of Jaag Utho and zero cost marketing. "Helping Community Digitally" was the topic of presentation of Farhan Masood, CEO SoloTech Corp. He presented the case study of his project Go Green Pakistan and told that his project has 1,300,000 people subscribed to it in Pakistan. Go Green Pakistan helped people build homes during the 2000 floods. It used social media for arranging blood in dengue attacks last year. Danial Malik, Percussionist, Lyricist for Beghairat Bregade presented on "Social entertainment, unknown no more. A case of aaloo anday song. He said that they never wanted to be revolutionists but true representatives of society. Malik supports freedom of speech and said that he is of the idea that one video should be blocked instead of the whole YouTube. Musicians are coming up with content that has messages and social entertainment is a point unknown no more. This was a great milestone in shaping the future of digital media in Pakistan.
