KU and Canadian university sign MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for scientific and technical cooperation was signed here between Brock University of Canada and Karachi University's International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), according to information reaching.
As per MoU, the Brock University and ICCBS would cooperate in exchange of scientists, research scholars and specialists for the purpose of research and training and exchange program of expertise. Other areas identified in MoU include exchange of technical information, staging scientific seminars and arranging training courses and carrying out joint research program.
The two higher academic institutions will also set up joint laboratories or pilot stations for research and development activities and joint supervision of M.Phil and PhD students.
The signatories of MoU were Dr Ejaz Ahmed Dean of Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences Karachi University and Dr James Mandigo Vice Provost and Dr Gervan Fearon President and Vice Chancellor of Brock University. Pakistan Consul General in Toronto Imran Siddiqui was also present on the occasion.
The initiative of signing MoU between two higher seats of learning is a part of plan conceived under "science diplomacy "to gain benefits from the world of science and technology of the developed countries.-PR
