Prime Minister Office receives over 0.1 million plaints so far: Durrani

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Iftikhar Durrani Thursday said that so far 110,000 complaints have been received by the PM Office through web portal, of which 16,770 have been resolved while the rest are being addressed. Speaking at a news conference here, he said that most of the received complaints are about municipal services whereas the highest number of complaints, which have been resolved, are related to energy sector as 6,303 complaints were addressed in connection with the sector.
Durrani said that more than 12,000 complaints were related to education sector, while complaints regarding land revenue, law and order, health and other departments have also been received.
More than 4,000 complaints were received from overseas Pakistanis, he said, adding that no complaint with regard to corruption has been received by the PM House so far.
He said that over 21,000 people gave suggestions about the web portal. He said that the PM Office App was downloaded 454,000 times in just 24 days and those who downloaded the app included 54 percent men and 46 percent women. Last month, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched a public complaint cell, Pakistan Citizens' Portal, to hear and address people problems.
The portal was set up at the Prime Minister's Office with an aim to timely address the complaints of the people and get their feedback.
