The first Chairman WAPDA Golf Tournament will get underway here at Defence Raya Golf & Country Club on Friday (today). Federal Minister for Energy Omer Ayub Khan will be chief guest at the opening ceremony of the tournament.
In the event which will continue till December 2, top amateur golf players from all over the country will participate. The event will feature 320 aspirants including 140 amateurs, 70 seniors, 30 ladies, 20 veterans and 60 individual participants.
