The country's bedwear export posted a 3 percent rise to $583.627 million in July-October 2018-19, official figures say. The rise in bedwear export now stands at $16.403 million in July-October 2018-19 from $567.224 million in July-October 2017-18, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) shows.
In term of volume, Pakistan exported 93,472 metric tons of bed-wear in July-October 2018-19, which is up by just 0.09 percent or 81 metric tons, from 93,391 metric tons in 2017-18. Bedwear export went up by 3.26 percent or $5.948 million to $188.650 million in October 2018 from $182.702 million in October 2017. However, the country's bed-wear export declined by 1.34 percent or 411 metric tons to 30,254 metric tons in October 2018 from 30,665 metric tons in October 2017.
