Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive on Wednesday recovered 17500 kilogram of betel nuts from goods carrier at Super Highway. According to details, the action was taken on a tip-off, which led the recovery of 17500 kilogram of betel nuts worth Rs 4.8 million from a goods carrier (TLG-369) at Super Highways. Consequent upon recovery, the goods were confiscated and case has been registered. Further investigation is in progress.
