Over 21 crime cases reported in capital

The incidents of theft, house robbery, snatching at gunpoint and motor vehicle theft showed a significant surge in city during the last week as over 21 cases of various kinds of theft and 17 cases of car lifting were reported to various police stations of the federal capital.
According to the data gathered by Business Recorder, over three cases of kidnapping and two murder cases were reported to the different police stations in the last week. The most "favourite" areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Kohsar, Aabapara, Shehzad Town, Industrial Area, Sabzi Mandi, Koral and Noon police stations.
During the last week, Kohsar police station registered three cases of robbery and one case each of auto theft and kidnapping. Zulfiqar Ahmed informed Kohsar police station that unidentified robbers stole his laptop from his car. Another Muhammad Afzal lodged a compliant with the same police station that unknown persons kidnapped his son Faisal Javed.
Zafar Haider informed Kohsar police station that unknown people stole a laptop from his car. Armed robbers stole gold ornaments from the house of Majid Naeed. Auto thieves stole a bike bearing registration number LEF-8798 of Imran Javed.
Aabpara police station registered two cases each of robbery and motor vehicle theft. Muhammad Rafique informed Aabpara police station that unknown thieves stole gold ornaments and Rs 1.3 million cash from his house. Muhammad Waseem lodged a complaint with Abapra police station that unknown robbers stole gold ornaments and Rs 1.8 million cash. Auto thieves stole a bike (RIV-1742) of Wazir Muhammad and lifted another bike (RIQ-4483) of Muhammad Qaism.
During the last week, Sabzi Mandi police station registered one case of robbery and two cases of auto theft. Aman Ullah lodged a complaint with Sabzi Mandi police station that some unknown persons impersonating government officials snatched Rs 324,000 cash from him during body search. Auto thieves stole a car (ET-294) of Sajid Ali and lifted a bike (AWAM-350) of Muhammad Fahad.
Industrial Area police station registered two cases of robbery and one case of auto theft. Rohail Anwar filed a complaint with Ramna police station that four armed persons barged into his house and snatched cash and gold ornament worth Rs 3.8 million. Another Muhammad Gufran filed a complaint with Industrial Area police station that unknown robbers stole gold ornaments and Rs 1.1 million cash from his house. Auto thieves stole a bike of Amjad Mehmood.
During the last week Shehzad Town police registered two cases of auto theft and one case of kidnapping. Auto thieves stole a car bearing registration number LEF-2049 of Sajid Imran and lifted a car bearing registration number LXB-2730 of Faraz Hussain. Pervez Akhar informed Shehzad Town police station that some unknown persons have kidnapped his son Arif Pervez. One case each of kidnapping, murder and robbery was reported to Koral police station during the last week. One Ikhlaq informed Koral police station that Zafar Shah has allegedly kidnapped his daughter.
