PPP to form next government if mid-term polls held, claims Zardari

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday said that PPP would form the next government if mid-term elections are held. While addressing a ceremony in Tando Allahyar, Asif Ali Zardari said the PPP government will work for the masses and will give them their due rights.
He said, "We are getting indication of mid-term polls." He slammed at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government saying that a fake political entity is always created to counter organic political parties. He further said that now let's see what will be the result of this game. Zardari said that PTI chief Imran Khan wouldn't have been prime minister had there been free and fair polls because Imran didn't come into power through votes he doesn't care about them.
Earlier, Asif Ali Zardari had addressed the media in Tando Allahyar and said that what if arrest happens, jail is my second home. Zardari said that it is government's misunderstanding that we are feared, we just not want to weaken state institutions.
He said that PTI government saying that they are under-16 players, politics is handled strategically but they (PTI government) actually don't know how to play. Former President Ali Zardari said on Sunday that Pakistan Peoples' Party gets further stronger whenever action is taken against it. Zardari rebuked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's government by calling it an under-16 team. "They can finally start doing governance if they stop arresting people."
The PPP leader said that his party doesn't want to weaken institutions but an entity has a wrong perception that it is scared. Zardari said that the Federal Board of Revenue is not able to collect taxes because revenues cannot be increased through coercion. "It's a government of blind people. They don't know that the country will get stronger by strong provinces," he said.
The PPP leader said that the party leadership is not being given permission to visit Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. "Bilawal is told that he can not go there but on the very same day PM Imran is escorted in the area," he added.-Agencies.
