Former PML-N MPA Waseem Qadir joins PTI

The former PML-N MPA and Deputy Mayor Lahore Waseem Qadir called on the Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, here on Thursday and announced to join Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) reposing confidence over the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Waseem Qadir said that he is with the PTI in the journey of national development and would be standing with them in future as well.
"I have complete confidence and trust over the PTI leadership and it would be made further strengthened in the provincial metropolis," he added.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said on the occasion that the PTI has emerged as the most popular party due to the public-friendly policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He added that the PTI government is a government of the people which is striving hard to resolve the public problems treating them as its own. "We are serving the masses of the province as a team and it is sanguine that you have joined this team in the journey of public service," he said. The PTI Chief-whip in the Punjab Assembly Syed Abbas Ali Shah and spokesman to CM Dr Shahbaz Gill were also present on the occasion.
