Collector Customs inspects mobile sets registration system

Collector Customs Lahore Faiz Ahmed Chaddar inspected mobile phone registration system at the airport and inquired about the proposals from passengers to deal with problems. He directed to increase number of facilitation counters at the airport in order to facilitate the passengers, carrying new mobile sets. Meanwhile, the registration counter has also been set up at the Customs headquarter and the air freight unit at the airport.
Collector Customs instructed the Customs officials to contact civil aviation authority in order to distribute registration forms in the flights coming from abroad. He also directed to appoint well educated and trained staff at the facilitation counters to deal with passengers. So far, as many as 6000 mobile phones have been registered at the airports throughout Pakistan out of which 3100 phones have been registered at the Lahore airport.
