Attack on PSP office: MQM founder among seven booked

Police on Tuesday registered a case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain and six other people for an attack at Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) office that left two persons dead and another two injured.

The PSP activists had been receiving telephone calls prior to the attack from the suspects nominated in the case, reads the First Information Report (FIR). The callers had been threatening the PSP members.
Several pillion riders had stormed the rival Pak Sarzameen Party office in Usmania Colony. Around six armed men opened indiscriminate fire and fled the scene. The PSP is led by and comprises of the erstwhile comrades of the nominated accused.
