Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a gang of Afghani street criminals from Maripur Truck stop. According to CTD In-charge Mazhar Mashwani, the arrests were made in assistance with the CCTV footages. The detained persons were identified as Abdul Hadi alias Badal, Muhibullah alias Lalu, Muhammad Arif Khan and Muhammad Raees alias Chakri.
Mashwani said that these criminals during initial course of investigation admitted to have committed crimes in mostly Central and East districts; adding that all of them were Afghans and in mid-twenties. The case has been registered and further investigation is in progress.
