Three more matches decided in the Peshawar District Inter-Club Cricket Championship being played on different grounds here on Friday. In the matches played on Friday, Malik Sports, Rahat Shaheed and Malik Stars moved to the quarter-finals. In the first match Malik Sports bat first and scored 203 runs after playing the allotted 30 overs for the loss of eight wickets.
Sajid Khan hammered a cracking century 100 runs with nine boundaries and three sixes, Shah Zaib scored 26 runs with two boundaries and Aamir Zeb scored 23 runs. For Malik Sports Jamal, Fazal and Junaid Akhtar took two wickets each. In reply, Malik Sports bundled out for 122 runs after playing 24 overs with Asad Ullah scored 34 runs including four boundaries, Salahuddin made 25 runs. For Malik Sports Bakhtiar and Saleem Khan took three wickets each and Fawad took two wickets, Sajid and Hamaduddin got one wicket each.
In the second match Rahat Shaheed club bat first by setting up 190 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Abdullah struck an elegant knock of 47 runs with seven boundaries, Jehangir made another cracking 42 runs including five boundaries, Hamid scored 34 runs with three boundaries. For Frontier Foundation Lines Alif Jan took three wickets, Shehzad got two wickets and Wahab and Zaheer got one wicket each.
In reply, Frontier Foundation Lines bundled out for 50 runs only after playing 12 overs. Obaid scored 25 runs. Rahat Shaheed club's Abid took seven wickets, Faizan got two wickets. In the third match Malik Stars batting first scored 214 runs for the loss of nine wicket with Noor Ul Haq scored 56 runs with five boundaries and two sixes, Aleem made half-century 50 runs with four boundaries and Faisal scored 33 runs.
The Falcon Club Rasheed and Kashif claimed three wickets each. Haroon and Akhbar got one wicket each. In reply, Falcon club bowled out for 134 runs in 23 overs. Saif Maluk struck 54 runs with five boundaries and two sixes, Mustajib scored 18 runs. For Malik Stars Raz Muhammad and Abu Bakar took three wickets each while Khalil got two wickets and Irfan and Abdullah took one wicket each.
