Prime Minister Imran Khan will embark upon a two-day official visit to Turkey on January 3, 2019 at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This will be the prime minister's first official visit to Turkey. He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Planning Minister Khusro Bakhtyar and adviser to the prime minister on commerce Abdul Razak Dawood.
During the visit, the prime minister will meet the Turkish President and discuss the entire spectrum of bilateral relations between the two countries. Views pertaining to regional and international situation will also be exchanged. PM Khan will also address a business forum and hold several meetings with Turkish businessmen and potential investors during his stay at Ankara.
