Bid to dislodge Sindh government will prove Waterloo: Baloch

01 Jan, 2019

Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the federal government attempt to dislodge the Sindh government through state power and undemocratic means would prove Waterloo for the entire system.
He was briefing the media in regard to the performance of the PTI government during the year 2018. The JI Secretary General said that the government had not done any legislation since assuming power nor framed any clear policy to provide relief to the masses. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had not fulfilled his promise to visit the parliament every week and answer questions. Since assuming power, the Prime Minister had not visited the parliament once as had been the case of the former Premier Nawaz Sharif, due to which the parliamentary system had suffered.
Liaqat Baloch said that the gas crisis had gone worse and the rise in the LPG prices had added to the worries of every house hold.
He further said that the traffic system in the Punjab had become unmanageable and the motorists' precious time was being wasted due to rush. He urged the authorities especially the Motorway police and the Traffic police to take necessary steps to relieve the road users from this problem.
