FCCI hosts dinner in honour of Iran, India Kabaddi teams

Sports play an important role in promoting international fraternity and election of a cricketer as Prime Minister of Pakistan will help to project Pakistan as a peace loving country in international community in addition to promoting healthy sports activities within the country.
Addressing a dinner hosted in the honour of visiting Kabaddi teams from Iran and Indian Punjab, Syed Zia Alumdar Hussain President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) said that Pakistan has privilege to produce world class sportsmen who brought laurels to the country only because of their professional skills.
He paid best tribute to the Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that he has gained an eminent position as star cricketer and is still respected among the sports circles of the world. He told that his election as PM of Pakistan is a unique opportunity for Pakistan to encourage sports in and outside Pakistan.
He told that FCCI is also contributing its due role in the promotion of sports activities and so far it has organised three sports events in collaboration with Divisional Commissioner. Among these the Kabaddi Championship is one of the major event as not only players from within the country but also from the neighbouring countries, Iran and Indian Punjab, are participating in it.
The dinner was also attended by Divisional Commissioner Asif Iqbal Chaudhary, RPO Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, DC Sardar Said Ullah Dogar, CPO Ashfaq Ahmad, Additional Commissioner Rai Wajid Ali, senior vice president Tanveer Ahmed, vice president Engineer Ehtisham Javaid, the coaches of Indian Punjab and Iranian teams in addition to the President Pakistan Kabaddi Federation.
