The leaders of different wings of Pakistan People's Party on Saturday paid rich tributes to former prime minister and PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) during various events held in parts of Peshawar on his 91st birth anniversary.
Besides, the cake cutting ceremonies the workers also held seminars to recall services of Z A Bhutto he had rendered for welfare of the people. Two major events were held at Peshawar Press Club-one under People's Youth Organisation, People's Students Federation with Syed Ayub Shah, provincial vice president as its chief guest and the other by PPP provincial chapter, wherein provincial President Engr Mohammad Humayun Khan participated.
The first event was addressed by Syed Ayub Shah, provincial deputy Information Secretary Gohar Khan Inqilabi, Labour Leader Shah Zulqarnain, Rashid Khan Afridi and Sami Khan.
Paying rich tributes to the party founder they urged the workers to step up their efforts to fulfil the mission of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his daughter (former prime minister) Benazir Bhutto who offered sacrifices of their lives for welfare of the poor people and strengthening of democracy in the country.
