Pakistan White and Pakistan Green have won their Kabaddi matches against Iran and Indian Punjab teams on last day of Commissioner Faisalabad 41st National Kabaddi Championship at Iqbal Stadium. Pakistan White beat Iran by 38-24 and Pakistan Green won against Indian Punjab by 47-29.

Advisor to CM for Sports Malik Umar Farooq, Divisional Commissioner Asif Iqbal Ch, RPO Ghulam Mehmud Dogar, Deputy Commissioner Sardar Saifullah Dogar, CPO Ashfaq Ahmad Khan, Addl. Commissioners Rai Wajid, Khadim Jilani, ADCs Qaiser Abbas Rind, Aasma Ijaz Cheema, ACs Shumaila Manzoor, Nazia Mohal, Shahid Nadeem, M. Orangzaib, Khuram Shehzad Bhati, DG PHA Ch. M. Asif, Secretary General Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Muhammad Sarwar Rana, Divisional Sports Officer Tariq Nazir, Secretaries Divisional & District Kabaddi Associations Tayab Gilani and other officials were also present.
Advisor to CM Punjab on Political Affairs Ch. Muhammad Akram awarded prizes of Rs. 2 lac each to the Indian Punjab and Iran Kabaddi teams with trophies while medals and trophies were distributed among Pakistan.
Advisor to CM Punjab lauded the efforts of divisional and district administration and Kabaddi Associations for successful holding of National Kabaddi Championship.
He congratulated the winning teams and appreciated the skillful performance of Kabaddi players during the matches. He said that Pakistan is a peaceful country and the environment of Pakistan was very attractive for international tournaments of different sports activities.
Special Assistant to CM Punjab for Sports Malik Umar Farooq said that Punjab government had given special focus on sports sector and much better sports facilities are being provided then that of before to the players at stadiums and sports complexes. He congratulated the organizers of National Kabaddi Championship and said that the fans of Kabaddi had taken opportunities to see the Kabaddi Matches of higher level. During the prize distribution ceremony famous folk singer Arif Lohar presented performance on culture and folk songs.
