Former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair Umar has said that armed men tried to stop him while he was driving his vehicle, Aaj News reported late Tuesday night. Accompanied by his wife, Muhammad Zubair, a PML-N leader who served as Sindh governor, was driving his vehicle when armed men boarding a white vehicle tried to stop him at the turning of Street 26 (DHA).
He said he has reported the incident to the police. He said he had also informed the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah. It was not clear if the armed men wanted to attack him or harassing him.
