The 26th Pakistan HVACR Building Services Expo and Conference will be held at the Karachi Expo Centre from February 13 to 15, 2019. The 3-day mega engineering event is primarily aimed at showcasing the latest technology and developments in local and international HVACR sector. Around 15,000 professional visitors are expected to turn out as the event organisers said some 1000 products and brands would be displayed by both the international and local manufacturers and sellers.
The event is being organised jointly by HVACR Society Karachi Chapter and ASHRAE Pakistan Chapter.
"More than 600 stalls will be set up in seven halls, besides B2B and B2C meetings, that will help the manufacturers, exporters, importers, distributors, professional engineers and allied sectors, to come and interact with each others," said chief convener of the Expo-2019, Muhammad Abbas Sajid, a media roundtable discussion on Wednesday.
International participation is expected from over 25 countries including ASHRAE president and regional officers. The exhibitor's categories include: alternative energy power solutions, air coolers, air duct system, air conditioners/ refrigerators, building materials, burners oil/gas, cables, ceramic wool, cooling towers, fans, filters, insulation material, roof insulations, scaffolding, vacuum pumps, valves and accessories etc.
The society's Karachi chapter president Noor Afzal said that this year's exhibition has a special focus on energy solutions as there will be an exclusive hall for alternative energy and energy efficient products.
Responding to media queries, the HVACR Society officials said the country has huge potential in engineering sector; however, the constant poor government policies have been the major impediment in the progress of the very sector.
