Koki Khel Zalmi clinch Afridyan trophy

Koki Khel Zalmi Eleven lifted the wining trophy by beating Qamber Cricket Club by six wickets in the final match of 2nd Afridyan Super League (ASL) cricket tournament being played here at Qamber cricket ground, in tehsil Bara of Khyber district.
Ex-member of the parliament Haji Shahjee Gul Afridi was the chief on the occasion. Before the start of the game the players of both the teams were introduced to him.
Winning toss Qamber team decided to bat first and in 20 over made 100 runs all out. In reply Koki Khel Zelmi Eleven achieved the target in 13 over for the loss of four wickets.
Abdul Wakeel Afridi was declared man of the match while Asad Afridi was awarded as man of the series.
At the end the chief guest gave away trophies and cash prizes to the shining players and teams. A total of 11 best teams from all over the Khyber district took part in the tournament.
Speaking on the occasion Shahjee Gul congratulated the organizers on organizing such event and said it proved that the local tribesmen were peace loving, and cheerful people. Hundreds of thousands local residents enjoyed the 15 days long sport event and praised the players on their best performances.
