At least four members of the same family including three women and a man were killed and two others sustained injuries when roof of their house collapsed in Union Council Sudher of district Swabi on Monday morning. According to details, roof of a mud house of Sarfaraz caved in on Monday morning. Sarfaraz, his wife, two sons and two daughters were buried under the debris of the house. Local people recovered the dead bodies from the debris. Rescue workers and locals rushed to the site and shifted the injured people to nearby hospital in district.
Sarfaraz and his son also sustained injuries in the incident who were shifted to a hospital in Yar Hussain for medical treatment. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan in a statement issued here on Monday, expressed grief over the death of four members of a family in the incident in Swabi. CM also expressed sympathy with the beaver family over the loss of precious lives and hoped to give courage to bear this irreparable loss.
He directed the best medical aid to injured people in the incident. He asked the authorities concerned to not show any leniency in medical treatment of the injured people.
