Book launching ceremony held at Islamia College Peshawar

A book launching ceremony was held at Roos Keppel Hall, Islamia College Peshawar (ICP), here on Sunday. The fourth book is being launched by former senior bureaucrat and writer and intellectual Roider Khan. Peshawar University and Quaid-e-Azam University former vice chancellors, Academy of Sciences Chairman Professor Dr Qasim Jan, writer Roider Khan, former foreign secretary and collected works, Bangash as a keynote speakers at the event.
While, the book collected works, former ambassador to India, Hamayun Khan, Pakistan Tobacco Board chairman Gul Nawab Khan, Islamia College Senior Alumnia Association president Haj Mohammad Zaman Khan, General Secretary Mohammad Fayyaz Khan, facutlty members and teaching staff of Peshawar University, College and schools were present at the book launching ceremony.
In his welcome speech, Islamia College University Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Habib Ahmad said that Roider Khan in his book expressed regret about government of Pakistan and mismanagement situation in the country.
He said the writer had also hoped that the corruption, misadministration and economic instability will be eliminated under the present leadership of Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan. He asked the students to fully concentrate on their studies, besides they will take also part in extra Co-curricula activities in order to play their effective role in development of country in their practical life.
Professor Dr Qasim Jan while addressing on the occasion, being the chief guest said that people are heading toward development and progress due to availing higher education and administration merits. Other speakers, on the occasion, highlighted the key notes and points of the book.
