Terming the 'Sehat Insaf Card' scheme launched by the prime minister Imran Khan under the PTI's 'Sehat Sahulat Programme' as good initiative, the Punjab governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar on Monday said this step will go a long way in achieving the goal of healthy society apart from helping overcome poverty.
Talking to a delegation of the Punjab Paramedical Staff Association which led by its President Tanveer Bhatti, here at Governor's House, the governor said under this programme, around 80 million people will get free medical treatment. The governor said that the PTI government is paying special attention to provide quality healthcare facilities to poor people of Pakistan. "In new Pakistan, a system of reward and punishment is being introduced and only justice will prevail," he said.
