Moonis may become federal minister

Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) has dropped its differences with PTI as it has been promised a Federal Ministry for Punjab Assembly speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi's son Ch Moonis Elahi who is expected to take oath next week. On special directions of the Prime Minister Imran Khan, his Special Assistant Naeemul Haq called on PML-Q president and former prime minister Ch Shujat Hussain at his residence here on Sunday.
During the meeting, MNAs Moonis Elahi, Salik Hussain, Hussain Ellahi, Ejaz Chaudhry, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Provincial Minister Muhammad Rizwan, Shafay Hussain and Salim Baryaar were also present. Afterwards talking to the media it was stated very clearly that alliance between the two parties will not only remain intact but will be further strengthened.
Naeemul Haq said, "Prime Minister Imran Khan attaches special importance to the alliance with PML-Q, some people do not want our alliance and keep spreading rumours, but there is no such difference between the two parties, in some matters the stance can be different but this is not weakening the alliance, I have been sent by Imran Khan to Ch Shujat Hussain to say that there is no difference between us and this alliance should be further strengthened and it will gain further strength."
