With the minimum ticket price of Rs500/-, the sale of tickets for the five Karachi matches of the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) is going to start online this week. The ticket prices will range from Rs500/- to Rs12,000/- for the eight matches scheduled to be held in Karachi and Lahore. The ticket prices for the five matches scheduled in Karachi will be from Rs500/- to Rs12,000/-, while the prices for the three matches scheduled in Lahore will range from Rs1,000/- to Rs12,000/-, it has been learnt.
Tickets for the final, to be held in Karachi on March 17, will be costlier, the sources said. Karachi will host the first of their five matches on March 7, 2019 when Karachi Kings will take on Peshawar Zalmi under lights. The other four matches will be played between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators on March 10, 2019, Qualifier 1 vs Qualifier 2 on March 13, 2019, Eliminator 2 on March 15, 2019 and the final on March 17, 2019.
Qadhafi Stadium Lahore will host Lahore Qalandars vs Islamabad United on March 9, 2019, Lahore Qalandars vs the Sixth team on March 10, 2019 and Eliminator 1 (3 v 4) on March 12, 2019. The Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has already said that the Punjab government will make the best arrangements of PSL-IV matches to be played in Lahore and foolproof security will be provided to the players.
Sardar Usman said the Punjab government will extend every possible support to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and best facilities will be arranged for cricket enthusiasts. He hoped that people will enjoy international standard cricket and the soft image of the country will also be promoted. The cricket stadiums will regain their glory and splendour and the fans will enjoy a good play of cricket in the PSL-IV, he added.
