Talking to a private news channel, he said institutions like the Supreme Court and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were working independently and playing their due role to provide justice to the people and act against corruption.
He said the process of accountability had already started in the country and the looters and the corrupt would have to bear the brunt of their unlawful deeds.
The minister said the government would welcome the Opposition's positive criticism on its policies and their suggestions regarding public friendly projects, but they would not be allowed to conceal their corruption.
He said unfortunately, the national kitty was looted ruthlessly during the regimes of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party and the booty was transferred abroad through money laundering networks.
Replying to a question, he said there would be no National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) for the looters as they would be held accountable for their malpractices at all costs.
Ali Muhammad Khan said under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the country was moving forward on the path of progress and prosperity.
He said when the PTI government came into power, the biggest challenge was to improve the economy which was in dire straits, besides managing the balance of payments crisis.
He said the government was taking steps to provide all basic facilities to the poor through different welfare projects like Shelter Homes and Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
To a query, he said there was an increase in foreign investment in the country, which was now being considered safe by the foreigners due to an honest leadership at the helm of its affairs.
