The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has rolled up sleeves and kicking off a campaign from February 18 to take action against its licence fee defaulters.
This decision was taken in a meeting chaired by PFA Director General Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman here on Wednesday. He has asked a detailed report concerning food business operators who existed in the red category of fee defaulter. Muhammad Usman directed the PFA Additional Director General Resource and Licensing to prepare a complete list who failed to pay the fee for last six months. He also directed to constitute special teams to take action against fee defaulters. He informed that PFA is considering taking action against bigwigs (food business operators) of the food industry in the first phase.
