Pakistani actress Iqra Aziz has been receiving a lot of flak for donning a new look. Yesterday, she posted a new picture from her latest photoshoot which has drawn severe criticism from the fans.
Disturbed by all the hate comments, Iqra posted a message for fans saying that it broke her heart receiving such hatred from people only because of her looks. “On my recent post I’ve got almost 5000 comments first time ever, and majority is hate, where is humanity?,” she wrote.
In the picture, Iqra can be seen wearing bold makeup with short hair and drop shoulder top.
Earlier in an interview to a local media, Iqra called social media the centre of criticism. “With this busy schedule, and being the centre of criticism, you do feel depressed, you stress out, burn out, you have your breaking points,” she said.
Iqra has been dominating TV screens ever since her character in ‘Suno Chanda’ became popular. The young actress is having a very successful year with hit television dramas such as ‘Khaamoshi’, ‘Tabeer’ and the massively popular ‘Suno Chanda’.
Iqra is also rumoured to be in a relationship with actor Yasir Hussain but they have yet to announce it as they say ‘good friends’ is all they are.
