Funeral prayers of five siblings, who died of consuming unwholesome meal at local restaurant in Karachi, were offered in their hometown village in Pishin on Saturday. The prayers were attended by a large number of local citizens, tribal elders and relatives of the deceased children while the deceased kids were buried in a local graveyard.
Earlier in the day, another affected of suspected food poisoning passed away in hospital as paternal aunt of the deceased siblings also lost her life who died of consuming unwholesome meal on Friday at local restaurant in Saddar area of Karachi.
Reports said that the 28-year-old woman Bina was arrived in Karachi with her brother Faisal Kakar while she was taken to a private hospital along with five other children following unconscious condition after consuming food from Naubahar restaurant. Hospital sources said that she was put on ventilator as her condition worsened on later Friday night, however, she passed away today. Family members said that Bina was unmarried while her dead body was also being shifted to Quetta for funeral prayers.
Dead bodies of five siblings were shifted to Quetta who lost their lives in an apparent food poisoning case after consuming unwholesome meal on Friday at local restaurant in Saddar area of Karachi. The dead bodies were receiving by relatives at Quetta airport where provincial minister Zmarak Khan Achakzai, Malik Naeem Bazai, Balochistan Health Minister Naseebullah Marri and provincial lawmaker Wahid Siddiqui were also present. The bodies were transported to their hometown Khanozai area of Karezat tehsil in Pashin.
