The Punjab Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution with majority expressing solidarity with Pakistan Army and condemning Indian violation of Line of Control. The resolution was presented by PTI MPA Abdul Aleem Khan. The resolution lauded services and sacrifices rendered by Pakistan Army for defense of the country.
The House also passed a resolution against the use of drugs in private and public sector educational institutes. The resolution was tabled by PML-N MPA Hina Pervez Butt. The nine resolutions of public interest were deferred due to absence of ministers in the House. Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari directed to stop salaries of those ministers who remain absent from the House.
