Visionary approach, political maturity and statesmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan coupled with gallantry of our armed forces has elevated the impression of Pakistan at international level as a responsible and peace loving nuclear state.
Addressing a rally to express solidarity with political and military leadership of Pakistan, Syed Zia Alumdar Hussain President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) said that the business community is appreciative of the Pakistani stand based on principles.
Condemning aggressive posture of Indian government and army, he said that civilian casualties across the LoC are indicative of the fact that Indian forces have unleashed a wave of terror particularly in the Occupied Kashmir.
He said that after facing a shameful defeat in five provinces, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now fanning war hysteria by instigating Hindu extremists in a bid to win upcoming elections. He lamented that India is hurling anti-Pakistani statements as a political weapon which may endanger peace in South Asia.
He said that dispatch of additional troops to Indian Occupied Kashmir and repeated violation of LoC by India Air Force is indicative of their criminal and aggressive mentality.
He said that Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan had offered impartial investigation into the Palwama incident but without proper investigation as usual India has put the entire onus of this incident on Pakistan.
He said that Indian leadership is trying to provoke Pakistan by entering into its air space and dripping payload of its jet fighters. He said that Pakistan has given a matching response with proper restrain. He said that Pakistani political and military leadership is fully aware of the criticality of prevailing situation as any miscalculation may trigger an all out war between two atomic powers which will bring only devastation and destruction in this entire region.
He paid best tribute to Pakistani political and military leadership who have wisely reacted and hit two Indians jets that had crossed LoC. "The ultimate objective of this reaction was to show the preparedness and capabilities of our armed forces that are ready to face any aggression," he told. He further said that India should realise that the entire nation is united and would stand by its armed forces in case of any aggression by India.
The participants of rally also chanted slogans 'Pakistan Zindabad and Indian aggression Murdabad'. The walk started from FCCI Complex while participants marched up to Mian East Canal Road before their dispersal.
The walk was also participated by senior vice president Mian Tanveer Ahmed, vice president Engineer Ihtesham Javaid, Shabbir Hussain Chawla, Rana Sikandar Azam, Shahid Mumtaz Bajwa, Hajji Muhammad Abid, Rana Ikram Ullah, Amjad Ali Amjad, Hajji Muhammad Saleem, Haleem Akhtar Malik, Chaudhary Habib Ahmed Gujjar, Hamiyun Qaiser, Asim Muneer, Rana Fiaz Ahmed, Hajji Gulzar Ahmed, Syed Khalid Mehmood, Habib Ur Rehma Gill, Muhammad Adrees Sidhey Sheikh, Bilal Waheed and Muhammad Saeed.
Earlier Syed Zia Alumdar Hussain chairing a meeting of the FCCI executive committee welcomed the release of captured Indian Pilot Abhinandan. He said that this politically mature reaction must not be treated as our weakness as we are ready to thwart any Indian adventurism.
Former president Shabbir Hussain Chawla condemned the repeated violation of LoC by Indian army and said that Pakistani political and military leadership has given a very balanced response.
Secretary General Abid Masood said that Pakistani forces are our most precious asset.
"It has fulfilled its national obligation with unmatched boldness by successfully defending the ideological and geographical boundaries of motherland. Shabbir Hussain Chawla also moved a resolution to pay tribute to the Armed Forces of Pakistan which was unanimously approved by the house.
