PTI MNA terms boycott of OIC meeting 'a principled stand'

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA, Haji Shaukat Ali has termed the Pakistan's boycott from attending the meeting of OIC as a principle decision of incumbent government. Commenting on Pak-India tension, while talking to media persons here on Sunday, he said that the India participation in OIC was beyond reason so Pakistan has reserved the right to protest against it.
He said that foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi did not participate in the OIC meeting, which was a principle decision of the government of Pakistan. He said that government is committed to provide relief to poor masses as steps have been taken at federal and provincial level in this regard. He added that strategy would be evolved to give special relief in upcoming fiscal budget.
Earlier, MNA Shaukat Ali took notice of additional dues in water bills. He said that a meeting will be held in coming weeks with officials of Water and Sanitation Services Peshawar to address the issue.
He said strategy will be devised to payout dues of water bills to give relief to masses. He said it would be completely unjust to put burden on people. MNA also visited different areas in city and examine the initiatives taken by WSSP during heavy rains in last four days in the provincial metropolis Peshawar.
