India had to reverse its planned missile attacks on eight places inside Pakistan following a message was conveyed to Indian side that any such action will be retaliated with a threefold force, according to media reports. Reports while citing senior government sources maintained that Pakistan had learnt of a plan by India to carry out missile attacks on seven to eight places in Pakistan from a base in Rajasthan, India.
After getting the information about India's sinister designs, Pakistan's security agencies warned their counterparts in India that the country's Armed Forces are ready and if there would be an attack, the magnitude of Pakistan's response would be threefold heavier.
It was also claimed that India then planned a second attack of missiles and to foil this attack, Pakistan had sent a message to India via third countries if there was an attack then there would be a strong response.
The reports maintained as there is no direct contact between Islamabad and New Delhi, but indirectly there had been contacts between personalities from both countries and that security agencies of both the countries also remain in contact despite tensions. One such contact was established on the night of February 27-28.
Citing the sources, the reports also stated that Pakistan also had prior intelligence about a joint India-Israel plan to attack Pakistan, adding that India had been repeatedly warned of taking such steps at every forum and Pakistan continued its efforts for peace at every level.
"India and Israel had planned to target Karachi and Bahawalpur in a joint attack. However, Pakistan had prior intelligence reports about the attack," the reports citing high-level sources claimed.
The reports also warned about India-sponsored terror attacks in major cities of Pakistan. About the Indian dossier on the Pulwama attack handed over to Pakistan, the sources maintained that the dossier do not contain any actionable evidence. The government sources further said that strategy was being devised to disarm the non-state elements. Pakistan's soil would not be allowed for launching attacks against any other country and the National Action Plan (NAP) would be implemented in letter and spirit.
