What else could the Indian Opposition parties, including Congress, do in response to whatever prime minister Narendra Modi is doing since the Pulwama incident in particular? They have been plausibly attacking him over political use of armed forces. In other words, they have launched a united attack on Modi for his politicisation of the armed forces as he tries to ride a patriotic wave into a second term in office at a general election. How unfortunate it is that Modi or his party is milking a highly tense situation between his country and Pakistan for his electoral gains.
Amid mounting doubts about the success of an Indian air strike on an alleged JeM camp in Pakistan's northwest on Feb 26, the opposition rightly sees Modi as potentially vulnerable over both the government's claims and its behaviour. Modi and his cohorts have failed to come up with evidence, if any, because Indian leadership is lying and lying consistently.
