Automobile manufacturer Chevrolet has made up a full life-size truck entirely with over 300,000 Lego bricks.

Detroi-based automaker Chevrolet, along with students from Oxford Community School and Ralph Waldo Emerson Elementary, recently unveiled the first-ever full-size 2019 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss truck, which it made using Lego’s 334,544 signature bricks.

Chevrolet’s truck is an exact life-size replica of the 2019 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss, but with Lego bricks. The truck not only required thousands of hand-selected Lego pieces, but also 2,000 hours of assembly from 18 specially trained Lego Master Builders. The Lego Silverado model is 6ft high, 20ft long and 8ft wide, weighing total 3,307 pounds. The truck has ‘unique working lights and graphic details’, as per Chevrolet.

However, despite the truck being a piece of art, the truck’s lights can turn on, but it does not really work and cannot be used as an everyday vehicle. Chevrolet is using this project into the soon-to-be released ‘The Lego Movie 2’ where there will be a smaller Silverado version will be seen.
