Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) wheat futures ended lower on Friday as late-session profit-taking dragged prices from 3-1/2 week highs posted during the session, traders said. CBOT May soft red winter wheat settled down 1/2 cent at $4.66 per bushel. The contract ended the week up 0.8 percent, its second straight weekly advance after falling in the previous five weeks. K.C. May hard red winter wheat ended down 2 cents at $4.45 a bushel, while MGEX May spring wheat gained a penny to close at $5.72-1/4.
