Acting Chief of the Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has suggested that the New Zealand Prime Minister should be awarded Nobel peace prize for her statesman-like behavior after the terrorist attacks in two mosques there. He was addressing the office bearers of the JI at Mansoora.
He said that the New Zealand Prime Minister should be extended an invitation to visit this country and her prudent role in the wake of terrorist attacks be appreciated. She should also be awarded the highest civil award of Pakistan, he added.
While criticizing the poor performance of the government, Liaqat Baloch said that the narrative of the Prime Minister and the ministers was creating dissent in the society. He said that the government had bowed to the demands of the IMF and the FTFA. He said the price hike was out of control. He said the latest report of the State Bank of Pakistan was a charge sheet against the government. He said the PTI had promised ten million jobs but the fact was that hundreds of people had lost their jobs due to the government policies.
