Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated that education and justice are top priorities of the government because education, especially science education, is very important for the development of the country. Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony of Hyderabad University here on Thursday, the Prime Minister cited the example of Singapore and stated that its exports have crossed $330 billion primarily because it gave priority to education.
The Prime Minister added that only those nations have progressed who have devoted more resources and attention to education, especially science education. He said that investing in human development of the country is critical to ensure durable development and progress. The Prime Minister stated that his government will provide all resources for development of Hyderabad University on sound technical and scientific grounds.
A private university is being set up in Jhelum with only two faculties, Science and Sufism, because it is important for the people to know about the history of Islam. He said that the university will conduct research on the life of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
