The soft wheat was bought in four 25,000-tonne consignments at $259.22 a tonne c&f from trading house Dreyfus; $259.25 a tonne c&f from Lecureur; $260.22 a tonne c&f also from Dreyfus and $260.11 a tonne c&f from Olam, they said.
The barley was bought in two consignments at $245.69 and $246.29 a tonne c&f all from Glencore.
Wheat shipment was sought in a range of possibilities according to origins supplied between Feb. 15 and March 25.
