KPT sets a new record of unloading phosphate

Chief Executive of Friends Corporation Stevedores (Pvt) Ltd, Muhammad Saleem Vohra has said that a new record of unloading 54,000 metric tons of rock phosphate has been made at East Warf of Karachi Port Trust from ship in just three days. Talking to the media, he said that generally in one day only 8,000 to 10,000 MT cargo is unloaded.
He said that the company has unloaded 18,900 metric tons of cargo out of 54,000 MT in just 24 hours which is also a record unloading in singe day. Giving details ,he said 18900 M toms of imported rock phosphate raw material, which is one of the most important raw materials has been unloaded from ship EUROPA BAY at Karachi Port Trust East Warehouse's Birth no. 11 and 12 in collaboration of Pakistani company Fatima Fertilizers and Pak Arab Fertilizers in just 24 hours. The company broke its own last record of unloading16900 M tons in 24 hours.
