PCJCCI team to represent Pakistan at China's trade fair

The Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) delegation will represent Pakistan at China's largest trade fair known as the 125th Canton Fair (phase 1) to be opened today in southern Guangdong Province of China.
The delegation is comprised of renowned businessmen from different sectors of vehicles, building materials, electrical and electronic products. Addressing the delegation's participants, PCJCCI chief Shah Faisal Afridi said that over 25,000 exhibitors would display their products while about 200,000 buyers would attend the fair being held at the China Import and Export Complex.
The Canton Fair had implemented the Belt & Road Initiative and also driven the trade and economic cooperation with countries along the route and promoted trade connectivity and win-win development between China and the neighbouring countries including Pakistan.
China is a major producer and exporter of consumer goods including electronics and information technology. Electronic and electrical products have gained great progress in traditional and international markets; PCJCCI Secretary General Salahuddin Hanif said adding that 16 categories of products would be exhibited in 51 sections bearing 59,647 booths and 24947 exhibiting companies in the National Pavilion.
